Michelle King and Sean Maxwell, secret service agents-turned-private investigators, spot a teenager running through the woods with a gun in his hand. Michelle gives chase and discovers that the boy, Tyler Wingo, is distressed by the news that his father has been killed in Afghanistan. Strangely, however, Tyler receives a text message from his father a day later and hires King and Maxwell to find out what really happened. Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy do an excellent job reading, ably capturing the repartee and romantic tension between King and Maxwell. Sound effects enhance the drama. VERDICT Highly recommended for series fans and patrons who enjoy witty, exciting mystery/thrillers.-Ilka Gordon, Aaron Garber Lib., Cleveland (c) Copyright 2014.
