Hospital Days : Reminiscence of a Civil War Nurse
Jane Stuart Woolsey was a hospital manager in the late 19th century. She also worked as a teacher at the Lincoln Industrial School for Freedman in Richmond, Virginia, and the Hampton Normal and Agricultural Institute where she taught sewing and housework classes to newly-freed African Americans.
